COURSE SUMMARY

This course is only available to people with a visa which enables them to stay more than 3 months. The central focus of this course is everyday conversation. Students in this program will have an enjoyable time learning Japanese for daily life and also for work. Classes are offered on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Students are assessed every 3 months and classes are reorganized, making it possible for each student to progress at his / her own pace. Transfers during the term are also accepted if the new applicant’s level corresponds with that of the class.

Open house days are scheduled at the middle of every term, newcomers are encouraged to participate as it is an opportunity for cross-cultural communication.

STEP1

Beginner

This class starts with hiragana and katakana. Students learn simple conversation and basic grammar.

STEP2

Students will learn basic sentence structures, communication skills and increase vocabulary.

STEP3

Students will learn everyday kanji and will learn to speak with more fluency.

STEP4

Students will learn approximately 400 kanji and learn to communicate easily. (Highest beginner level class)

STEP5

Lower Intermediate

The objective is for students to learn Japanese necessary for business.
